Understanding what each action means is the first step to playing confidently on JeetBuzz.
Discard your hand and forfeit any stake already in the pot. You're out of this hand but your remaining stack is safe. Folding is often the right play — even experienced players fold the majority of hands they're dealt.
Pass the action to the next player without betting — only available when no bet has been made in the current round. A check keeps you in the hand without risking extra chips.
Match the current bet to stay in the hand. If the big blind is Rs 400 and a player raised to Rs 1,200, a call means putting in Rs 1,200 (or Rs 800 more if you're in the big blind).
Increase the current bet. In No-Limit Hold'em, you can raise any amount up to your entire stack. A raise forces other players to decide: call your larger bet, re-raise or fold.
Bet all your remaining chips. If called, a side pot is created for any additional bets from other players beyond your stack. You can win the main pot regardless of what you're short-stacked by.
Raise on top of an existing raise. A 3-bet indicates significant hand strength — or a well-timed bluff. Understanding when opponents are likely to fold to a 3-bet is a core skill in Texas Hold'em.
First to act pre-flop. The most difficult position — you have no information about how any other player will act. Play tighter ranges from UTG.
Mid-to-late positions. The cutoff is one to the right of the dealer — playable range expands significantly here as fewer players remain to act after you.
The most advantageous position — acts last post-flop on every street. The button is where you can play the widest range and apply the most pressure with position advantage.
Forced bets that create the initial pot. The SB acts second-to-last pre-flop but first post-flop — a disadvantage that makes blind play one of the most studied aspects of Texas Hold'em.

From UTG and UTG+1, only play strong hands — premium pairs (AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT), big aces (AK, AQ) and strong suited connectors. Acting first post-flop with a marginal hand is a consistent way to lose money over time.
The button is the most profitable position in poker because you always act last post-flop. On JeetBuzz cash tables, widen your range from the button and cutoff significantly compared to early position. Position is a persistent advantage every hand.
If there's Rs 2,000 in the pot and your opponent bets Rs 1,000, you're getting 3:1 pot odds (call Rs 1,000 to win Rs 3,000). Compare this to your hand's equity — if your draw wins more than 25% of the time, the call is mathematically justified.
